Using mature females rather than our asian colleagues (obvs to make the business they are calling more receptive) same tactics as always. push push push. I've asked for a copy of their magazine by email but still waiting. "when should we call back half an hour"? Got a call from 0208 415 1292 claiming to be from HMRC with an automated message saying that I have tax evaded, without stating my name or anything, and the message carries on saying that they have a warrant on me :P honestly!?!?!?!?... they carry on asking me to press this and that button, which I didn't ofc... I hung up... Careful guys when you get calls from unknown people asking you to press this button or that, you may be giving way for hackers to clone your phone.

Fraud. Claimed to be from Amazon, calling due to a suspect transaction on my Amazon account (purchase of a phone for £400). Said they had sent an email and were chasing a response to it. When caller was told I didn't believe him, he became very rude. Politely suggested he go to hell.

Unknown caller. when dialed there is an exchange message "The number you have dialed has not been recognised. Please check and try again." This seems to be occurring more frequently. It is now possible to make calls from another number look as though the call is coming from somewhere totally different, for example a call made from a Glasgow number can seem to come from London. Be wary. This experience happens on calls from 01506 674749 to 01506 674752 inclusive.

this Indian woman rang me and for over three minutes told me that she was ringing to prevent any nuisance calls to my number in the future. I told her she was being a nuisance.... and she kept telling me that she was from the anti nuisance call line of the UK... that was the extent of the conversation. Felt like it was a Bart Simpson style prank call.
