Apparently I have opted in to receive telephone calls regarding financial services. LIE. I was encouraged to press 5 to talk to someone who will send me a package explaining on how I can write off up to 50% of my existing debt or some such rubbish.

Called saying they were local radio and I should choose 3 songs. I asked how he got my number, he replied I had been selected (???!) So I said I had selected to register with the Telephone Preference Service and if he calls my number again I will report him :) We ll see...

Caller said "Hello, hello" in a foreign voice (TIP - repeatedly pressing your hash button in reply ends the call)

PPI. They said it was called HELP YOUR CLAIM. I asked to speak to the manager and told them that my phone was registered to not receive cold calls, and asked them where they got my number from. They asked for my email address so they could let me know where they obtained my number from. I refused to give it, as next thing they will be sending me emails too. Caller asked to speak to person who wasn t in. Told to phone again after 6pm (4 hours away). Received 2 further calls from this number within 30 minutes of original call so caller obviously doesn t listen.

Automated robot voice message. Didn t listen before ending the call.

Called to discuss an accident I had. Asked them for the details and they said they were calling to get the information from me to match their records and asked had I had an accident or not. Asked 5 times for them to confirm the details of the accident they had on file and they hung up.

Have had more than a few calls from this number b4 - supposed "road accident/incident" 2 n half years ago - forget it - never happened!!! These "companies" need to do their research and/or cease harassing people whose numbers they have "bought"

This company wanted details from me to compare energy providers. Told them I would use uSwitch. They said they use same engine and chased for details. I declined and told them I am on TPS list so shouldn t receive cold calls and that without my authorization it is illegal.
