I did not press 1 as this did not feel this was safe and believed it to be a scam. I feel HMRC would not contact you in this way

Caller is persistent but does not leave any message as to the reason for the call. The call does not say anything when phone is answered.
Rang and left no message. A phone where less than 10 people have the number and hence this is almost certainly a scam call.

Automated answer informed me that my national insurance and bank accounts had been suspended. A crime number had been issued and court proceedings instigated.
