Caller gave her name as ‘Jennie’ had an Asian accent which I found difficult to understand. From what I could gather ‘Jennie’ was ‘selling’ Sky reduced insurance to cover my Digi box for the next 12 months. She asked me to confirm the first 4 numbers of the bank card which covers my Sky payments. She quoted 4 numbers which proved to be different from those on my card. ‘Jennie’ then asked for my actual 16 digit card number to which I replied that I would not
Recorded message with American-sounding accent purporting to be from BT saying my internet will be terminated in 24 hours and to press 1 for more information. I did not press 1. It is clearly a scam.

Scammer wanting to know if I'd got a hearing problem.

This number has called me several times over the last couple of days. I phoned back today as it is a local number and actually got an answer John at Assist Financial. Looked this up and yet again it is another hard sell scamming PPI company. When will something be done about these low life harrassing companies. Also apparently, they are based in Wilmslow, so how do they get to use the local 01933 dial code? Or is this another development in the scammers armoury?
