Do not ignore this number. It is not a scam. Because of the comments I ignored it and left it a day to go into the bank and ask if it is genuine. It is and my account was being hacked. These fraud people are brilliant and stopped my account being emptied.
Unsure if it was an automated person or not. Told them I'd crashed a dodgem several times & couldn't be put back together again.

I believe it was an Indian guy, called yesterday saying people were using our internet. Tried making me visit a site that said it was risky to go to and told us to turn off out internet and computer for 2 hours. Next day today, around the same time as before got a call, sounded like the same person, saying he was from Virgin Media and wouldn't really answer our(me and my mothers) questions. Continued to tell us to visit a website, and after a half and hour calling trying to see what our back accounts were.

SCAM - This is a call from the National Insurance Number Authority, fraud has been detected at the border with Wales (needless to say I've been isolating for a year at home, which is nowhere near Wales) and if you don't press 1 now, we will take legal action against your national insurance number.
