I was a bit uneasy with a firm telling me that they could get me a rates reduction as there are many firms offering this service! Graham George and their rep Jason were more than helpful in the service they provided me, even when all of the paperwork was lost by the government department. They resubmitted it the next day a decision was made a week later. Caller asked for the home owner and said it was not a sales call. the company did have our surname but did not ask to speak to Mr or Mrs......... When I asked how they got our number (ex-directory) they just put the phone down.

I got this number today,but didn t answer, and just got office background noise on the answer machine. This is despite only having changed my landline number a couple of weeks ago (because of many such scamming and harassment calls).I went ex directory and only let a few friends know the new number. How on earth did these scumbags manage to get the new number, and does anyone know if contacting Fraud Alert will help?
