Waiting for a response ! I may be barking at the wrong tree though as its my mobile phone company, Vodaphone, that is charging 45p/minute as an access charge, whilst Glen Dimplex is charging max 10p per minute. So it appears that Vodaphone is the greedy party.

I have been abroad for 2 months and started to receive calls at night in the second week of being away (due to time difference I guess) on average once a week. I have never answered & no message is left. Although the number shows as a regular number on phone call list you can t return the call using the number. On googling area code it shows as Glasgow, & on googling the whole number various sites come up with people recounting similar stories - so I will try to block number / not answer...and would advise
When you ring the number back it says you were contacted by ascend finance and if you want to be taken off call list to ring a Manchester number. It rang me at 6.28pm.
