Just received a call from this number, I answered, there was silence and then after a few second a beep followed by a robotic lady saying "Goodbye" I had received a missed call from this number a few times so this time I stupidly decided to call it back - not a normal ring tone for London/UK number. A man answered, sounded very much like a call centre and said "This is (forgot the name) from HMRC, what is your name?", I gave him my name and he said "We're looking for a Sheila Stevens". Got a call from this number saying they are from HMRC and I have criminal record for outstanding tax payments. They said if I don’t pay today over the phone a warrant will be out for my arrest. Tried calling the number back and It says service closed with a dial tone. Sounds like a scam to me. Please be aware.
