The number = 01709889223, this number phoned me today (at 13:08 on 1st March 2022) and the caller stated they were from BT OUTBOUND ringing about my telephone. They were indian, male and middle aged, they identified themselves as John Martin. I am ex-directory and my phone is registered with the telephone preference service to block sales calls and unwanted calls. I checked online and the number was listed as Indian and Rotherham based. SCAM called wanted to talk about my Virgin Media broadband which was about to be disconnected. When I told him that I don’t have service from Virgin Media and suspected a scam call he got abusive.
Called six times 13th April 2023 during the course of the day from late afternoon right up until 19.27hrs, no messages left, we don't answer our landline, just for broadband and anyone that knows us will call our mobiles, so expect this is some sort of sales call or scam, blocked it, definitely don't wanna be talking to anyone from Vietnam, Binh Dinh, really, unwanted nuisance calls!

they called me twice no caller id claiming to know the last four digits of my card, part of my address (which was wrong) and saying i made a transaction on the weekend which i did not, they sent me a code and it said to add my card to their apple pay, so obviously they were trying to take my credit card details and commit fraud on my account, they kept saying im verified my identity they then went silent when i said ill call my bank, called bank and they said yep my account is secure and that was a phising.

A message in a Chinese language was left by whoever dialled the number. Possibly automated. This happened today at 14:47PM and also on numerous occasions in the past. What is strange about this automated message in Chinese, is that I keep hearing it a lot and it is over a year now since this happened, the only difference is that, I see other UK numbers which was displayed on my phone and the same automated message is heard. I have no clue what the message is all about!
This number has tried phoning multiple times. I haven't picked up because why would I if I'm not expecting a call from London. No idea if it is dangerous or not but just tread carefully with it I guess.
