I believe this number to be dangerous. Says it's national crime agency and going to cancel my NI number due to fraudulent activity on my accounts and to press 1. This is certainly not true!!!!

Yet another number used by Vanquis Bank
Automated answer informed me that my national insurance and bank accounts had been suspended. A crime number had been issued and court proceedings instigated. I was to press “1” to speak to operative. Safe to say I hung up. Strangely the actual phone number is very close to my own phone number….only a couple of digits out.

I had a call from this number offering a new boiler for £17 per month. Pressed 5 and ‘Shona’ asked “how may I help you ?” I said “Hello Shona, before we start could you tell me who you are and how you got my number?” she said “err, no!” and hung up.

They have phoned my home every day for the last 6 months! They will not stop phoning my home no matter how rude you get with them.
"Your call is very important to us, please stay on the line and you ll be transferred to the next available agent" On-hold music lasted 6 minutes, then a different recorded voice said "Good-bye" and hung up.

This number called twice. Thanks to all on this site - I ignored both calls. As a personal policy, I don t answer calls on my mobile, cos I only give it out to family.....and in any case I only use it for texting.
Hi if you receive a dodgy call off this number i please ask you just block it not call and give abuse , someones cloned / is using my number to call people , i keep getting calls/messages when its not me actually calling ! SCAM by recorded voice saying they were HM Revenue & Customs and a tax fraud had been reported. Say to press 1 to discuss with the officer. If I didn’t press a number to be connected I woukd soon be arrested. Obviously pressing any key will incur huge charges or they will try to get you to give personal information etc. My number is really private so I wonder just who sold it to these scammers?
