SCAM I'm a Spanish resident living in Spain. I got several calls from this and another related number. A woman with Asian accent speaking not very good English claiming to be calling from Microsoft (first in California, then in the UK) told me there was a security issue in my computer and I needed to turn it on to follow her instructions. She passed the phone to a native English speaker when I said I couldn't understand. None of them sounded very professional at all and, in fact, the man insulted me.
This was definitely a call from a scammer. These calls use spoofed numbers, originate outside the UK and are untraceable. DO NOT GIVE ANY INFORMATION to a caller or confirm y...

Advert on Face Book so I thought it was a good idea to plan for the future to protect my family. However, after I had filled it in, this number called and were so unprofessional I didn t think they were genuine. Tried to block the number on my phone but my handset won t let me. Rang me, hung up. Redialled and american answerphone telling me the call was very important to them and kept me on hold. This keeps happening so will now block them

Call centre: Eastern/Asian accent (UK English speakers don't call you "Ma'am"!) claiming to be from BT Openreach; no preamble about Data Protection or recording calls for security purposes. When I stated that we did not have an account with BT Openreach the line went dead.

Much like the other reviews, my 83 year old Grandmother was called and told the warranty on her boiler had run out and that they needed to take payment to renew it. No explanation of who they were etc. Reported it as fraud to her bank but also called to cancel policy and ask for full refund. Worried now that this may not be honoured after reading other posts. Awful, underhand, dishonest sales tactics. Bet they re laughing all the way to the bank.
