Man claimed to be from Microsoft and knew my name. Asked if I had a computer. As I did not answer and just kept asking him how he got our number (we are registered with TPS) he said it was from publicly available sources! He then said as I was not cooperating he would cut me off straight away. Extremely concerning due to his bullying attitude and tendency to answer back rather than ending the call as most of them do.
iv had the same trouble with SSE about bills. I had changed to ovo, much better service and much cheaper. My advice: leave SSE and go to OVO.
No sound, has called my mobile twice a day for 3 days, the ones I answered rang off within seconds with a single tone. I guess at some point the auto dialer will connect me to a human to annoy me with some scripted nonsense about accidents or pensions!

Indian man rang me at about 10:30am 26/7/2021 saying that they'd just been upgrading my Broadband and noticed spam being sent to me and hacker activity. Wanted me to turn on my computer. I put the phone down. Have fallen for one of these scams before with someone getting me to download AnyDesk in order for the caller to remotely take over control of my laptop. BEWARE!!

This number called me today and left a message on my answer service to say they were calling from HMRC and they were filing a lawsuit against me. I was told to press 1 to speak to my Case Manager.
