Fraud SCAM The caller claimed to be from mobile phone promotion department offering a discount. I established that the caller was a fraud and called them out at which point they stopped being polite and friendly and began to taunt and be abusive. This call has been reported to the UK National Cyber Security Centre.

I got this number today,but didn t answer, and just got office background noise on the answer machine. This is despite only having changed my landline number a couple of weeks ago (because of many such scamming and harassment calls).I went ex directory and only let a few friends know the new number. Just rung me, nobody on the other end (just music in background). Might of been wrong number so just keep it at "annoying" for moment.
Missed call
Constant missed calls for a week. I answered and it was a polite lady from Vodafone trying to sell me something. She knew my name as I am a customer. When I said I was busy she said she will call back another time. This number does not appear on the Vodafone authorised numbers list although it is only one digit out from a lot of their numbers.

"Utility Care Club" claiming our subscription had been reduced. We aren't members. Sounded dodgy. Looked it up. It appears to be a real company (incorporated 2019). If it the real company, it ignored TPS, and told a falsehood on the phone. Umbrella company for servicing. Would not join one of these in any case. Definitely Spam.
Didn t answer partly because have seen comments here but also because I never answer unknown numbers or numbers not in my contact list on first call. If someone genuinely wants to speak to me they will leave a voicemail. This number has rung many times and never leaves a message
