a follow up call after visiting the dealership a few weeks ago.

Scam recorded message from “U.K. customs and excise” saying there is a tax fraud registered in my name - yeh right ! If that was the case I would be getting a knock at my door...

When asked the caller couldn t tell me the address of the company although eventually said it was Erskine House in Clydebank but she didn t know the street etc. I did ask how she found her way to work but the answer was that she walked! Apparently there was "funding available" and when asked who funded it she said "scrappage windows".

Called me at 13.51 25/11/2016 had saved this in my phone as a sales call. It is a company called Financial Lifetime.

Scammers - clearly baffled by voicemail and left half a message saying "car accident that wasn t your fault, is that right?"

This number called twice. I answered both times but no-one spoke. As the no. didn t correspond to any in my address book, I checked it out with you. Will now block number but concerned as to how they got my number in the first place, and hope they are not able to access my contact details in the phone.

Same experience as Ben. Odd indeed!

Caller wanting to talk about delivery of wardrobes. When you call them back, expect to be placed in a queue that takes ages to reduce. I have tried 3 times and given up after 15 mins each time. Must be costing me a fortune from my mobile phone!

Claimed to be paid by Microsoft, insisted I switch on my computer which supposedly had a virus. Resisted and argued when challenged, became abusive and continued to try to persuade me (but failed). Called and an automated but very convincing message said she was calling because I d been in a car accident that wasn t my fault (I haven t). The script is timed to coincide with your answer, most likely a phishing or other scam to get personal details.

Been getting calls from 01727686187. I answer and the other end is silent for 15 seconds then they hang up. I live in St Albans. Very frustrating!!
