Got call from 'Elite Legal services' regarding accident I had. Caller was polite enough and I can't be angry at him for doing his job, but at the end of the day this was an unsolicited call for a service I do not need. I explained my number is registered with TPS and his company should not be calling with unsolicited services and he at least said he would remove my number from their calling list, as to whether they have remains to be seen.

They usually work for some third company and call with offer of some goods or services for the actual company they were hired for. In this case the number is mostly reported in connection with boiler sales, just spam telemarketing...
Knew my name said they were calling, can get rid of debt and stop bank fees. Said I don't have any debt and hung up. Sounded dodgy, especially since I don't have any debt and so I have no idea how these people had my number and name, you could hear other people talking in the background and it took a while for the person to start talking to me once I answered, like he wasn't there to begin with, and was connected to the call after I had answered, which seems suspicious.
