I got an email asking me to ring this number regarding an overpayment on a car insurance policy from 2014. Thinking that it might be a scam I went online to find the customer services number for the company and rang them on that number not 0330 100 7303. It is a genuine email, they gave me my details correctly and then gave me my old bank account details. because I have changed my bank since 2014 they are sending me a cheque in the post instead. This number phoned my parents today asking for their national insurance number, and date of birth threatening lawsuits, in a panic my mum gave her date of birth, and the caller continued to harrass askin for more information in the end my mother hung up and tried to call back and recieved a dead line. These scammers have no morals targeting the old and vunerable and should be put down.
