SCAM 2 calls so far, get quite a few scam calls from Scotland so tend not to answer any of them.

Highly suspicious.

This number is used by scammers. My experience is that they advised me that my PayPal account had been used suspiciously, and invited me to call this number and get the supposed transaction cleared. What made this so dangerous, was the fact that they used the Paypal site giving this number to contact to resolve the problem. Very cute, they nearly caught me, but they asked too many questions about bank accounts, which set the alarm bells ringing. Asked why, the call was terminated.

SCAM Caller claimed to be from EON Next - very poor line, started to claim that they were calling regarding an issue with our post code and wanted meter details. I refused as I'd had another similar call from different number last week - which had all the hallmarks of a scam, so I hung up then and called EON Next back to verify what was going on. They had no record of any calls being made by EON Next to my company either in reference to our post code or our meter numbers. TOTAL SCAM - HANG UP !

SCAM I have this afternoon received a telephone call purporting to be National Grid Meter Department and confirming a date and time to change meter as they said it was over charging. Suggested a refund available since last year of £652.23 Offered a booking slot and advised the new meter number as E14UP04L89. The man with an Indian accent claimed that he is from Virgin media but asked if I'm with Virgin. When confronted being a scammer, hanged up.

This is a spam number. They pester repeatidly asking you to authorise or decline large transfers from your bank account. They never declare what bank they claim to be. IT IS A SCAM. DO NOT FALL FOR IT. DO NOT PRESS OPTIONS 1 OR 2 AS YOU MAY BE CHARGED FOR A PREMIUM RATE CALL.
