SCAM - automated message claiming to be HMRC - you are a subject to a HMRC Investigation with arrest warrant being issued etc etc.. well known scam - if you call the number they will ask you to pay a nominal amount to clear the debt.. just ignore - the REAL HMRC will send you a brown envelope or send you a message via your Self Assessment portal, they will never call you cold

Call received at 12-Sep-2019 13:30 from bank claiming a transaction was made from a foreign country and invited to press 1 (one) to cancel this transaction. This is a scam using re-direction to other line incurring high connection and call costs.

SCAM / SPAM This is a Paypal spoof text stating they have put a halt on account for safety of funds with a link to reinstate access. The link takes you to very real looking PayPal logon screen, which is fake. DO NOT ENTER YOUR LOGIN DETAILS!!! The number originates from China !!!
Phone number was local to my areas number, he had a foreign accent, speaking good English, and he asked who I was, not very politely, so I fired back at him who HE was. He wanted to know why I kept calling his number!? At that point I just hung up. I don't know if it's a bored student, or whatever, but I've had this twice this week. So I suppose I'm just putting this out there in case anyone else has had the same, or to just be aware of prank calls doing the rounds... ✌????????
