Spam/Phishing for information call: Caller claimed to be from Sky checking the renewal of services on my contract then asked me if I had any problems with my Sky equipment. I do not have any contract with Sky and no equipment, so I asked which equipment she was referring to at which point she ended the call.

This number rang me today. I was not convinced this marketing call was legit. I simply stated I was not interested. He continued to start to ask personal details e.g are you a home owner? I stated again I was not interested in answering his questions and I then put the phone down. Remember people, You Are In Control Of Your Phone!!!!!! Just to confirm, after my previous post I reported this number to the police, who said it definitely is a scam, and that Microsoft would never call you about this sort of thing. These people will generally want remote access to your computer to "fix a virus" or something like that.
