Caller gave her name as ‘Jennie’ had an Asian accent which I found difficult to understand. From what I could gather ‘Jennie’ was ‘selling’ Sky reduced insurance to cover my Digi box for the next 12 months. She asked me to confirm the first 4 numbers of the bank card which covers my Sky payments. Been called four times today and a few times throughout the last week. I selected option 1 to rectify fault (the recording claims BT are going to disconnect my broadband) the call went through to an ethnic accented lady who claimed she was working for BT, when she started asking which equipment I use, I queried it. Sounds like an alternate version of the Microsoft scam. I said I don't have broadband with BT, she hung up. Definitely a scam/phishing operation. Number will be blocked now.
