I assume it was an automated call from some seller and that the call was dropped because those companies employ systems that phone multiple numbers from their sales telephone lists and when calls are connected they switch them through to their sales reps or similar. This number calls my landline when I have an order to pick up from a Clarks shoe shop. Its always an sms from 00000etc. and quotes the Clarks order reference as a number. Very odd way of doing things but I guess its because I gave them my landline rather than a mobile number.

I received a letter from Hastings Direct saying my car had been involved in an accident 6 months ago. I got suspicious as it didn t have any details of my car on the form. I called and was told line busy. I hung up after 30 seconds. I wonder how much that cost me. Great scam. Letter got my attention.
