Have previously had about three missed calls from this number - just picked up the latest call and they informed me that I d had a car accident at some point since July 2010 - I have never had a car accident, thank goodness. I asked them where they got this information from - they said they purchased these details from a company and had got them as I had registered the accident but hadn t claimed anything. Just had a text from this Company. Which reads; "Hi Tony, call 0115 824 7495 immediately please. We received your application and need to speak with you now to complete your loan." After they kept me hanging for about 4 or 5 minutes they finally answered [ it did not worry me because of the mobile tariff that i am allows me to do just that ],he then went through some security questions etc., etc. He then told me "that I qualified for the loan", which puzzled me because i had already been told that in t

This number called and an automated voice asked me to confirm if my name was Nicolson (it isn t) when I clicked option 2 to speak to someone to update their records I got another repeating automated voice telling me the lines were busy and that they were calling on behalf of a company called Dorkies in Hardengreen. Hardengreen is about 10 miles from me. I did a Google search while listening to this automated message and couldn t find any company with that name or similar and hung up assuming it s a scam.
