Do not give them any information, just tell them you're going to confirm you're speaking with Metrobank by hanging up and calling the number yourself - they won't put up a fight apart from asking you to google the number they're using as caller ID to confirm it's the same (it's not the actual number they're calling from).

These people should be forced to follow the regulations of telemarketing companies as they currently do not! I was contacted regarding a Sapphire Magazine subscription following completion of a survey. This number, based in Cardiff. Very plausible female. I foolishly gave them my debit card number. I realised later thus could be a scam and surfed the Internet and confirmed my suspicions! See Money Supermarket threads. I cancelled the bank card immediately. Please don t give these comedians any access to bank cards or account numbers, doubt I will receive anything resembling a magazine this side of Christmas! Fe
