Just to confirm, after my previous post I reported this number to the police, who said it definitely is a scam, and that Microsoft would never call you about this sort of thing. These people will generally want remote access to your computer to "fix a virus" or something like that. Had a call from this number saying my NI number had been compromised and to press an option. Not sure whether this is a scam, I did not respond and hung up.

Complete pests. They call every other day, sometimes every day. National database ... boiler grants ... blah, blah. I m making a complaint to Data Protection and Ofcom now.

Absolutely disgusting!! He was screaming down the phone at me telling me how rude I was and calling me all the names under the sun just because I told him that I don t have time to take a sales call and could he please email any info he has through for me to look at! I told him not to call again and blocked the number from calling. When I tried to call back to speak to a manager to complain there is no answer! So angry!!

These people are a total nuisance. They are aggressive when they do speak and very rude. This number should be reported to Ofcom and Trading Standards. The more complaints made to the correct authorities the more chance these people will be dealt with.

Multiple calls, aggressive and pushy attitude, refused to take no for an answer. When I said I was putting the phone down he told me I couldn t. then phone rang 6 more times in quick succession. 1471 gave me the number

This is a NHS reminder call for a hospital appointment 2 weeks ahead of date. They woke me up at 10pm when I had just fallen asleep so are a nuisance call. They call several time before the date of appointment, they are a nuisance.

Answered the call on my mobile, as soon as I said hello they hung up.
