Spent 2 minutes on this call with a guy saying he was from tax office. He said I was hiding my tax money. It ended up with him threatening to come to my house tomorrow to collect. He also said I had to have 10 years receipts from anything I bought! A very aggressive caller! Beware!!

Numerous calls from this number. also from 01818894557. I attempted to call back both these numbers but numbers do not exist. I got so fed up I played along with him for 15 mins - he wanted to take control of my PC in order to fix (non existent) problems with my router. What he would have done is anybody s guess, but I assume it would not be to my advantage and probably would have cost me money !

Had several calls today from this number.. And when we were having our tea, the house rang with this number and when we didn t answer it the mobile rang....this makes you think it is an urgent call???!!!! DO NOT GIVE ANY DETAILS! Your internet and phone line are fine...there isn t a problem with it at all. It s just these thieving bastatds trying to relieve you of your cash...they get abusive when challenged..

SCAM Seems to be a call center as noisy line. Tried to obtain bank details etc under false pretences, alleging an engineer from BT has detected problems on my home landline and that without rectification I could incur £+ costs but if remedial action is taken quickly charges may be reduced. I asked for their engineer and departmental details but got nowhere so advised would call BT myself and the caller rang off. One for OfCom and other authorities. I rang back hiding my number, when put through, I was told my details had been passed to them from national database, and that I had been involved in a road collision. I told her she didn t know who I was, but insisted my phone number was displayed and matched to the database. Obviously from the outset this is just a cold call hoping who ever answers has been involved in some kind of accident
Was sent straight to voicemail, even though they rang me. Disconnected call and immediately got a message on my phone advising about blocking scam callers, was about to click yes, when a link appeared to a website? Seems like some kind of scam, avoid and beware!
