Claimed to be connected will Yorkshire water trying to sell plumbing insurance. Blocked
Company who wants to give advice on debt recovery. Calls twice a day which is worse than the debt recovery company!!!!
SCAM / SPAM
Claimed to be from Amazon, pre recorded msg regarding account details and asking to press 1 for further details. Calling an XDir number unknown to Amazon. Presume this to be a scam
SCAM saying that my National Insurance number was going to be deactivated due to illicit transactions being made.
I've had two calls from this number on my work mobile. I missed the first attempt but answered the second a few minutes ago. She claimed to be calling from Curry's PC World in London and gave a London post code. Strange then to have a number with an Edinburgh area code! It appears that it's trying to sell phones. Very noisy call centre and a very bad line indicating that the call was coming from overseas, probably India judging by the accent. Block the number so you're never bothered by it again.
