Became agressive when challanged regarding legitimacy of call. Then received caller-withheld harrasment & time wasting calls a few minutes after putting the phone down with the 'caller' attempting to change the sound of their voice

Rang today claiming to be from the British Gas metering team. I asked them to prove it by providing my account number. Gave me a string of numbers - not my account number. Foreign accent.

SCAM This number was the first of three (others were 0208 888 7676 and 01782 254545) which I received on 17th and 18th July 2023, telling me I had security problems with users accessing my computer files. I was told that I needed to open my event viewer logs so that they could help me to block the users etc. After playing dumb and stretching out the phone call - I eventually told them that I knew they were trying to scam me - which met with a tirade of abuse - especially from one female calling herse

Indian accented male calling himself "Antony Green" , burst into a speil about protecting my home appliances, saying that he could save me 10 quid "only for this month" to protect my appliances for 2 years. This number called me but i didnt pick up, i called them back and then they didnt pick up. i relised the number has whatsapp so i was bored and went and checked too see who they were as they would have a name. the name of the number was 'haroonfahad42926' i made a note of this and blocked the number, not just on normal call but also on the whatsapp. a day later i got a text from a different number on whatsapp and there account was called 'haroonfahad42926' again. the account was a buisness account but wa

I called the number someone called Tom answered and then hung up. I was then diverted to another number 01259 333 035 in Alloa, Scotland. This 2nd number had called me yesterday too. It seems suspicious.

This is a scam number based in eastern block country, pretending to be HMRC. Report it immediately and completely ignore it.

This is a private number but seems to be being used to gain bank details from vulnerable people. We have been called by people finding this number on their phone when we don't call anyone on this number.

This company uses Voxbone SA (now called bandwidth) services to route calls from scammers. this is just one of many telephone numbers i have had call me trying to scam me and i receive up to six per day for the past few weeks. At the beginning I politely told them that i was not interested requesting them to take my number off their call list and now its straight FO. Sorry for generalising it but it usually an Asian woman or man.

Called offering a Domain owned by a business we are friendly with, advising their domain is up for sale. We called the business and they confirmed they are not selling the Domain. Clearly a scam.
