A woman called Lauren called at 8.30 am to say that a lot of households in our neighbourhood had been receiving unwanted and nuisance calls. I asked if she was one of them and she said that her company, DDC (D Delta Complaints – or having looked at other comments, maybe it was Data Compliance) was going to put us on a more restrictive and safer system to block the fraudsters. I asked for her number and she said 0292 000 8716 but when I did 1471 it was 0208 312 0993.
I have no doubt this is a scam call. I have received several mobile numbers from the Manchester are that never leave a message so must be dodgy.
Claim to be calling re use of my bank card for a purchase in Chine. Utter rubbish, a scam
