Cold call advising me of an accident - I think they are randomly calling numbers using a Dialler system (Pause, Click then speak)I advised them that I did not have an Accident and asked how they got my mobile number - they hung-up. I called them back and asked again - he said he did not know and would remove me

"Your call is very important to us, please stay on the line and you ll be transferred to the next available agent" On-hold music lasted 6 minutes, then a different recorded voice said "Good-bye" and hung up.

Although I didn t request the call, they were well informed and helpful - possibly because we are currently investigating changing our heating system. Offered to call back to arrange a suitable visit. I await to see if their advice is useful/good.

i had to tell the man on the other end that i have reported the number and that its been traced to them and the police were on their way. the i heard him swearing using the F word, then hang up.i laughed.

I have answered numerous calls to this company, despite telling them their information is incorrect they continue to harass!!!!!!!!!

Its not just AO I just received a call from a young woman claiming to be from boots appliances, in the pretence of confirming delivery details etc. In fact her sole purpose was to sell insurance cover! She repeated every detail of my delivery, which I already know, told me they can remove my old appliance, which I already know etc etc etc then asked me why my old appliance was broken! All leading to the insurance pitch! These are badly scripted insurance sales calls! I am very disappointed that boots

I ve an italian number so I don t know how they can have my phone number. I live at London and I know nobody who lives at Bolton. I received many calls from this number but was always a silent call, probably it is a scam, be careful.

This guy hacked my friends Facebook and sent me a message saying "hey can I ask you a massive favour? I m having trouble with my PayPal, can I send you my months wages, and meet you for it later?". I d know this guy 10 years, I had no reason to say no... but I was busy at work so I stupidly gave him my log on to sort it out himself, I only had £100 in there anyway. I called back the number after abvout the 10th missed call. They are a company called MJE who want me to make a claim for missold PPI due to a loan or credit card. I didn t take PPI so told them they were wrong. Asked how they got my number, they get their phone list from a company called DLG Marketing. Told them to take me off the list, we ll see if I get anymore calls.
