SCAM it phoned auto message saying from bank and I'd had some unauthorized payments taken out this morning. It wanted me to press1 to authorize or 2 to speak to person. This is not a bank number and I checked with my bank itsxa scam

Fourth time this week, calling from "O2". Last time they called, they were from Vodafone. Idiots. Told me I could save £££ on my contract. Some one called on my partner's mobile phone - a number that she shares very rarely if not at all. Toby, the caller, announced that my partner had won the lottery, to which she responded, "Oh, really? Do you want my banking details?" At which point 'Toby' hung up. I've had two calls from this number on my work mobile. I missed the first attempt but answered the second a few minutes ago. She claimed to be calling from Curry's PC World in London and gave a London post code. Strange then to have a number with an Edinburgh area code! It appears that it's trying to sell phones. Very noisy call centre and a very bad line indicating that the call was coming from overseas, probably India judging by the accent. Block the number so you're never bothered by it again.

Called me and implied that they were operating on behalf of my estate agent and this was the 'next step' in the purchase of my new property. Tried to get my address details claiming that it was all part of 'data protection' - when I said 'heck no - I'm not giving you any details' then they doubled down on the the claim that they were operating on behalf of my estate. Very upsetting.

Then the usual press 1 to speak to the next available Scammer. Needless to say, there was NO money taken. They did not ask for anyone in particular and never mentioned any Bank
