When I questioned why they needed my data they stated that the number they called on (which appeared on my handset) if listed on the EE website under the security section. I hung up and checked. caller identified herself as Jennifer (Asian sounding voice) & said she was calling from BT & there was a problem with my computer & my service was about to be cut off. I was slightly concerned since I have a BT broadband account & was using my laptop at the time, but the tone of the call felt bogus so I hung up & checked number via Google.
