I answered the call- a recorded message told me a special service could help me with my debts. Said to press 5 for a call back from an agent in 24 hours, or 9 not to receive further calls. I simply cut the call. Complete cold call. I was concerned that sending a response might activate some charges to my phone.

Said she wanted to discuss my Virgin account,I said I wasn't interested , she said she wasn't selling anything, I told her to email me. Very bad line, obviously from overseas, took her a long time to answer me once I said hello.
Fraud
Caller launched straight into his sales script - something about energy efficiency double glazing, so I hung up. He called straight back so I hung up again without speaking. Called back third time so I told him politely that we do not accept unsolicited calls & my number is registered with TPS . Therefore he should not be calling, and please don’t call again. He wasn’t listening but continued with his script regardless whilst I was talking. Then told me to “Shut my F*****g mouth up” And hung up.

SCAM Received a text to my mobile from this number informing me that it was from the Royal Mail and that my parcel requires a £2.99 shipping fee and a link. Apparently failure to pay will result in my parcel being returned. No name, no reference and like I would share my business mobile with the Royal Mail. Poor and obvious attempt at a scam of some sort. Sender blocked.
