Its a genuine debt collection agency. After checking on here and seeing everyone saying scam I thought I d check with HMRC first. I knew I owed the money so after checking they were genuine I phoned them. I knew I couldn t pay the full amount so I offered £50 a month and they were happy with that, they didn t try bullying tactics or anything. They re not the boogeyman.

Received call at 13.35 on Friday 05/05/23. Call cut off when answered.
My partner received numerous calls saying his number was on some guys girlfriends phone we quickly realised it was an automatic recorded voice as if you don t speak it carries on speaking as though having a conversation ect. We got bored and hung up and then the same number called my mobile it highlighted as spam on the call but I answered but it was some American woman saying my number was on her guys cell (hmm funny there was no caller area code just a blatant UK mobile number that called) we had the same
I don’t have a clue who it is but I rang back they hung up rand again a women answered and was very arsy, I said a had a missed call and she just kept repeating over and over again pardon then hung up and won’t answer again after that

SCAM / SPAM Robot claiming to be from HMRC threatening you with arrest if you don't press 1 to connect to a person.
Called 3 times (2 yesterday morning, 1 this morning). I didn't pick up as I wasn't expecting a call and didn't recognise the number, and no one left a voicemail.
