Call came from 02039236047 on 16/10/2020 @0904 with a pre-recorded message stating it is from HMRC. It threatened court action if the call was not returned and that my solicitor should be notified. I have no doubt it is a scammer as the message was from a female with an american accent....who is unlikely to be given the task in the UK to contact whoever. I googled the number and saw some reviews.Why, oh why do the authorities allow such calls?

Dont know who they are but on TSP list. They have been calling daily and have left no messages but can hear general call centre background. No just pick up phone and let them listen to our background noise!
