cold calling from scottish power, had no authorisation to contact me on mobile, seconds later then called the land line (same person) after been told not interested and for scottish power to NEVER contact me in any form again, OFGEM (energy obundasman) contacted for aggressive sales and ignoring request, Has been fined every year since 2008 for poor customer service, miss-selling/miss leading and agressive sales via door to door and phone calls, refusing to pay credits back... Avoid this company at all

Private number
Called by this number saying to press 1 to be redirected to HMRC, then they were trying to convince me I have to pay a certain amount of money otherwise there is an arrest warrant on my name if I close the phone. looks to me like a SCAM! when I asked for some proof, they made me search for Queen's Bench Division of the High Court and give them the phone number at the bottom, and they started calling me from that number! then got angry and closed the phone.

This number is not secure, it is scammers pretending to be from O2, offering a 50% discount off your monthly bill. Tempting, obviously. They say a text will be sent to confirm this, followed by another text with a code to activate the offer. They will then ask you to repeat the code to them BUT doing this will allow them to take control over your account and possibly other info on your phone. Something didn't feel right so when they rang back for the code I didn't answer but googled O2 scams. Beware.
I keep getting plagued with calls from Manchester. Unknown number so didnt answer. They left no message. I have blocked the number.
