The caller immediately rang off without saying anything. Perhaps it was because I have got into the habit of saying "Hello" loudly enough to damage the eardrums when I get these unwanted interruptions. I rang back three times, purely for identification purposes. Each time I got a short recorded message and was then cut off. It was in an American accent. I am still little the wiser. Very aggressive foreign caller told me a woman in Mexico was trying to access my computer and it would be disconnected for about 25 days. First he said he was Windows security and when I said all our devices were Apple he said he was calling from Apple security. I asked to speak to his supervisor, who was English, but finally I hung up. Much more aggressive than any other cold call I e had.

This was a recoded voice and the script sounded very dubious. I was asked to call them back immedicately about something to do with excise and customs, and that it was very time sensitive. Definitely sounded like a scam. Needless to say, I did not call back.

Indian-sounding voice (female and obviously not very experienced) announced a problem with my BT broadband. I played along until she asked if I was in front of my PC. When I told her loudly I knew it was a scam, she told me to shut up several times. Ten mins later a male rang with the same story, got short shrift from me. Today it was this Brighton number, previously a Portsmouth one. I get these calls a lot!

Safe number. This number belongs to a SEO Agency. I have tried them and they did quite well in last 2 months.
First I got a call on my Mobile from a number showing as New York - didn t answer. Then I got a call a coupel of minutes later from 07418342582, ostensibly a UK Mobile. Answered and got a recorded message in Arabic (or Greek, or similar). I hung up. A few minutes later a text with a Telegram code number, asking me to click a link. Obviously I didn t as I know nothing about this. Beware!
