I believe this is a scam. Caller, female, claimed to want to help me. Otherwise my Amazon prime account would be auto-renewed at a given price. The price she quoted is different...

Foreign callers claiming to be from Accident Helpline. Ask if they can speak to person who had road accident. Last week I asked them to remove my number (registered on TPS), was told no. Spoke to a Manager who advised he would. Just had another call. Guy just hung up when I mentioned about last week.

No idea who this is,but, did come up as potential fraud,so beware,and be careful.

When I went to answer this call I got a message telling me that all operators were busy and if I would like to call them their n umber was. No way I going to call them, if they want me they can phone again.

BT never call you. These calls are always a scam.

Claimed to be calling from windows about error messages from my computer. Didn t know my name or anything. When I said she was a liar she said I m not a liar, you re a liar! I hung up on her.

They are based on wharf industrial estate in bury, Manchester and Blackburn. The staff who call have no idea, nor choice of who they ring as the system selects a number at random from their data, and only when the line opens do they see your name and address etc. They are legitimate in terms of what they are offering (a free hearing frequency test at your local football club/hotel) however, if you will receive any money should a claim be successful is questionable. This company keep calling, maybe 3-4 times a day always asking for someone who doesn t live here but as soon as I ask to speak to supervisor or say they have a wrong number they hang up. I m close to disconnecting the landline it is such a nuisance!!

claimed to be from credit agency offering to right off part of my credit via a government scheme, said he got the information from my creditors. asked him which creditors he got the information from just hung up.
