Very annoying this caller is very persistent and they call at all times of day and evening. I have my phone on answering service, on first ring it stops nuisance calls when it switches on and the caller hangs up

According to the list, 01234-339 numbers are allocated to BT, who in turn have sublet them to rogue operators like this. Perhaps complainants should persistently ontact BT s chairman Sir Michael Rake and Chief Exec Gavin Patterson, inviting them to terminate these contracts on the grounds of abuse of the system.
