Had a number of silent calls from this number. Just now they called again and I got a woman with a strong Manchester accent who told me that the company name was Versatile . In the background I heard typical call center noise. I said I d never heard of the company. She said that the company did exist and was based in Manchester. Text claiming to be from Lloyds Bank about a successful new payee pairing. I am not a Lloyds customer. I have had a very similar message (with just a different website address link) from 07760250181.

Called me saying they are the Carphone Warehouse and were trying to get me to buy laptops, phones and tablets. The line was pretty rubbish so I'm not sure if this was a scam as I'm sure the Carphone Warehouse don't just randomly call up numbers.
This is the HP support number. I had been speaking to them about an issue with my HP laptop, so they did have a legitimate reason to call me a few days ago, but the case had been closed so I chose not to take this call.
Called me today asked for me by name and knew my postcode .. Proceeded to explain how I could save money on goods and services ..Wanted to send me a trial pack with offers and info but it cost £1 ..Wanted to know my bank details and sort code .. I refused and they hung up ... If you do answer just end the call and save yourself time BEWARE I have now blocked
