They left a voicemail on my phone which was about 10-20 seconds long. The person on the other end didn't say anything, the background sounded like a call centre
Recruitment firm. Safe.

Called today 22/07/17 asked if I was Mr(surname). As my son also lives at this address I asked which Mr(surname) would be like to speak to. After a little hesitation he replied ...
They were doing a survey and asking questions about people who lived in the surrounding area. They asked for my post code and whether I could vote.

As it appeared to be a (local) legitimate number, I answered the phone. I couldn t hear anything except a few noises at the end of what seemed to be a very poor connection....
It's the Employment and Support Allowance (ESA) people - calling to arrange an Employment and Support Allowance (ESA) interview, assessing your suitability for work. It's outsourced (quelle surprise ????) to The Centre for Health and Disability Assessments, operated by Maximus, who have called you. NB: They called me, offering a phone assessment in 3 days' time. They are not allowed to do this. They have to give at least 7 days' notice of an interview. Know your rights, folks! https://bit.ly

The Company wants over ?1,500 as a down payment on a credit card in order for them to investigate the matter with my mortgage provider the "Halifax."
