Indian sounding female called from the number saying something about Telephone Preference, She knew my name, address and phone number and asked me if I was over 80yrs old, I refused to answer, she then said they wanted to take details of telephone preference, I asked her if she was from TPS ? and she didn t answer that, I then told her she was a scammer and not to ring me again, I have been able to block the number - I am concerned that they asked if I was over 80yrs old - maybe they are ringing until they

Accident claim scam. Claimed to be Emma Mackintosh from Proficient Helpline. When asked if they d ever heard of the Telephone Preference Service or Ofcom, she replied no.
