Call center
Just reported this to: https://ico.org.uk/concerns/marketing/spam-texts-and-nuisance-calls/ Please do the same. Sick of hearing this boiler message
Claimed to be from Sky. Definitely a scam, as I am not on Sky and they hung up quickly when I pointed this out. Indian call centre, by the sounds of it.
I had a call from this number on my mobile during work, so I couldn t answer it. They left an automated message telling me to press 5 and they would send "a pack" or something out to me. After that I did a little online research and apparently it s a social media and marketing company situated in South Africa. No idea how they got my number - especially my mobile phone number, but I ll block them. I don t think it s trustworthy!
Scam: Robo voice mail from "HMRC" threatening legal action.
