Scam claimed to be from Bt, could here lots of people in a call centre in the background. Then wanted to connect to my WiFi, I told him where to go.

Automated phone call scam. The call said something like " an unauthorised amount of £600 has been withdrawn from your account, press 1....."

Spam call claiming to be from HMRC - says legal action will be taken, press '1' to speak to an agent. Ignore, this is a scam.

they are saying that they are bt and my ip address has been compromised and to press one i hung up because we received another call from a different number telling us the same thing.

Called a TPS registered line, asking for a named individual, and identifying themselves as "Jess from BT", and asking to talk about "Your broadband line". This is despite our Internet services not being provided by BT, and the named person that "Jess" was asking for having nothing to do with the provision of our broadband. If she really was from BT (which I very much doubt that she was) then it would be one good reason not to touch them with several barge-poles strapped together.

I don t answer if I don t know the number because I had a bad experience. They keep calling me but they don t leave a message so I think it isn t urgent. I don t know what they want. Probably it s just advertisment.
claims to be from 'online technical support' regarding my PC. I don't have a technical support contract, so obvious scam.
