Call pretended to be from Manchester City Council & then began asking for info. When questioned again about being from the council they hung up. Very dodge!!!!

They ask questions about what sort of heating you have, what age you are, property ownership etc. Then follow the call from a mobile number 07526398056. Presumably trying to sel...
Just told me that they were calling from HMRC and a fraud had been registered under my name and to press 1. I did not do so and when I try to call back it will not connect. I suspect a scam.

Even less competent than the usual junk calls, dull rustling sound that didn t self disconnect, not even the traditional the other person has cleared . Perhaps they ll have mastered making words by next month?
