I received two suspected spam calls today, one from 0161 505 2728, which is a Manchester number, and another from 023 8228 0417, which is a Portsmouth number. Both claim to be from C T McCann Contractors and Internal Home Improvements - really not sure about this. Suffice to say I did not pick up either number!!

SCAM Called claimed to be "from the internet banking department of your bank" saying that they had blocked a £600 international payment, and to press 1 to talk to a representative . . . Really? From a mobile number?? Not the normal text my bank usually uses??? Not a chance Mrs Scam Artist!!!
Scam call, Chinese sounding recording message saying that this was the HMRC and unless I pressed button 1 to speak to an advisor, they will get their solicitors to get in touch ...
