so far these scammers have phoned me 4 days in a row, 6 on day 1, 3 times day 2, twice yesterday and so far twice today.. When they actually do speak or you hear something.. its either a recording telling you your about to be disconnected from BT and press 1 to connect to bt.. premium rate number.. or you get a indian claiming to be from bt, or they just keep saying hello before putting the phone down.

I just had a call from this number it is an injury claims company, very rude not listening, ended up swearing at her and putting the phone down.

Trying to get me to make a claim for physical injuries re a motor vehicle accient, would not go away

Caller looking to sell dubious investments. Pushy, rude and evasive. I suspect company uses several trading names and telephone numbers. Please beware of this number !

Mobile number saying they are from Hermes claiming to have a parcel for us, we have not ordered anything and are not waiting for anything to be delivered, this definitely a scam.

I had a call today. There was a big pause and I could hear all this chatter in the background, then they said they were BT, I am not even with BT, I hung up.

Agency chasing debt for VODAFONE (who owe the taxpayers of this country BILLIONS in unpaid corporation tax) Ironic eh.

James rang me a couple of weeks ago saying we needed to renew our Google Business package with him - thought it was a bit dodgy as we paid a two yr subs with another company a year or so ago. Contacted the bona-fide company and they said its a scam and to prove it to ask him if he knows my Google Business password. Yet to speak to him, so will be doing so!

A foreign sounding voice asked me information about my computer, I refused to let them know anything as they sounded Eastern European, not Geordie if they came from Tyne and Wear.

A woman pretended to be a staff member of my bank and wanted to have my identification card number. When I wanted to know the name of the bank, she said cheeky that I still needed to know which bank I am.

called at least twice a day for two weeks eventually answered and guy was so rude because i wouldnt discuss my life insurance said i had wasted his time god knows how said he wasnt the worst in the office and i was lucky to get him!!!!

I once answered the phone and asked who is it and they automatically cut off. I find it strange how this is becoming the norm all of a sudden. I refuse to change my number though if you call me, I think it is only right that you introduce yourself first. Since they did not I know they have something to hide!!! I am glad to let the world know that when you see this number it is not worth picking up. Just leave it & let it ring! I wonder how much their phone call expenses are? Definitely a scam call. These calls use spoofed numbers, originate outside the UK and are untraceable. DO NOT GIVE ANY INFORMATION to a caller. NEVER RETURN A CALL and NEVER ...

Hal s reply is spot on. If someone sends a text message to your landline and you don t pick up the phone it gets stored for you to retrieve later. This 0795 number is where you collect the message, plus the number of the mobile phone that sent the text. It s not dangerous. All depends on what the text message says, of course - that could be anything. In my case it was someone texting to say Sorry I Missed Your Call. See? Not dangerous.

Missed call on my mobile, no message left. Returned the call but only got an unusual sounding tone. Assume cold call

A call from this number today left a message that sounded like Italian on my answerphone. I guess another scammer.
