SCAM This number called me today at 1141am. It hung up when I answered. When I called it back a msg said 'the number you are calling is not available'. Like the last few callers I believe it was going to tell me money was leaving my account and if the transaction wasn't me, I could click '1' and sort it out. This would have been a scam number.
POTENTIAL SCAM Caller (with an Indian accent and in a noisy call centre) claimed to be from Amazon Security Department. She was checking whether I'd placed an order for £749... I said I hadn't. She asked if I wanted to cancel the order. I said it's not my order so I can't cancel it. She said my phone number and email and payment details had been used to create a fake account.
