The call was from someone claiming to be from visa saying somebody was trying to draw £900.from my account.
Claiming to be O2 and needs my one-time code sent by O2-UK to see if I am eligible for 40% off. O2 would not call me at 9:54 in the morning and send me messages to operate on a eligibility check on the spot, like dude, this is quite obvious scam, no?

TAXES / HMRC
Someone offering me an available slot on the front page of Google for a month. Told me they were from Google and then when I queried that, claimed to be an official partner. No one, not even Google themselves, can guarantee you a specific slot on Google. Hang up and ignore.
Automated voice said my card had been used on Amazon and to press 1 if it was not me. None of my banks are in this area so this is a scam.

Claimed to be from reputable finance institution with loud dance music playing in the background, wanted to make sure I got back money I had invested, some nonsense about block-chain, called him out as a fraud and he said the music was because it was Friday afternoon! Utter BS! They said they were local authority and asked if I needed any repairs, any dampness etc. I asked who had contacted them and this did not make sense. I put the phone down on them. She gave me no information whatsoever and the background was silent.
Scam caller, saying they are from Openreach doing a check as there is a report of a fault and to check my emails. I challenged her before she finished speaking as I knew it was a scam, and she hung up, but obviously would persist if a vulnerable person had answered.
Scam clearly a scammer, ask them how the weather is in Kolkata India, or how the view is from the Genisis building. Waste their time as much as possible so that they won't be able to scam as many people.
