Received a call from an unknown telephone number at 09 42 I was informed that a large amount of money had been taken from my current bank account and they wanted to know my security code etc . I didn't give them any information despite their pressure. The number that rang me was the following 01722741109. I felt it was possibly a scam caller . Can you advise
First time it happened after a second or two caller with male voice said"Goodbye" second time there was no contact, just silence. Next time they will get an earful of good old Saxon language from me.

Pretended to be a local business wanting an emergency Plumber (so avoiding our reception staff) they then tried to sell Screen advertising.... As per other reviews underhanded.
so far these scammers have phoned me 4 days in a row, 6 on day 1, 3 times day 2, twice yesterday and so far twice today.. When they actually do speak or you hear something.. its either a recording telling you your about to be disconnected from BT and press 1 to connect to bt.. premium rate number.. or you get a indian claiming to be from bt, or they just keep saying hello before putting the phone down.

I usually don t answer numbers I don t know (as I get a lot), but I felt like answering this time. A bloke with a northern accent asked for Mr Chin . I told him I don t know that name (as it s not my name and I know no one of that name.) The man on the phone then asked: "Are you hiding him?" Fraud text telling me there is a problem with my o2 account and a link in the text, (which *obviously* I didn't click on). The link address which I typed on my PC to check, comes up with nothing.
Not really sure who this was but it was kinda creepy, I heard a demonic growl and then he hung up. I'm only going to class this as annoying as it could just be someone playing tricks on me, but as a believer of the paranormal I think this should be mentioned.
