BT scam from London! Hung up when challenged!

Received a call from this number on 20/12/14 and let it go to ansaphone as I didn t recognise the number and get a large number of nuisance calls. If people start to leave a message, I pick up. If they don t leave a message (as on this occasion) I check for others experience with the number after the call, and I was not surprised to discover that it s another one of these tiresome attempts to gain access to my computer.

It s valid for London but whether it s genuine is impossible to tell. The incoming number displayed on a phone screen can be spoofed from anywhere.

Just left a comment, nothing else to say.

Rude when I said they couldn t speak to the owner. Hangup on these guys straight away!

Silence for 10 seconds. Then a radar like beep and 'Goodbye'. Very odd.

Keeps ringing, I don t answer, had a long 6 year dispute with a major high street bank,who incidentally were in the wrong and didn t take me to court but harassed me all the same, all associated debts are long since statue barred and they know this, just trying their luck and having none.

Ijust answered a call from this number. There was a lot of noise in the background and it seemed that the person phoning, thought I was phoning him. When I pointed this out, he said "you ve got a bad attitude" and when I said "pardon" he said "you heard" and hung up!! Very rude and aggressive!

Sorry you re all getting harrassed by that. We recently got harrassed too by multiple numbers, be it America, Germany etc. These are the very famous people from India with their "Microsoft Technical Support". Don t answer calls that are from outside the UK or wherever you live in and dont even answer numbers that are too short to even be valid.

This number has called me 5 times in the last hour everytime I answer I get no response it s getting so annoying I m seriously thinking about changing my phone number I have blocker installed but surely I shouldn t need it for my own phone number if and when they call me again I will be handing the details to the police as I think it s harassment

Hotel Resorts again using a local number for robo calls. I block them, and very quickly they change their called ID info to another local number.
